For the longest time, I really thought I was doing the right thing by using these “Ouchless” ponytail holders on my hair.
What I always tended to ignore was the knots that would form on the ponytail holder. And when I tell you there was a knot of hair around each holder…
Not until I was reading a hair blog (I wish I could remember which one it was because I read so many) did I realize that this was a problem! Although the ouchless ponytail holders are better than the old school ones with the large metal clasp, these bad boys were still ripping my hair out!
Once I realized this, I went on a quest to find an alternative ponytail holder with no seam and…
Eureka! I found these at the beauty supply store for like $2! There is no seam of any kind so there is nothing grabbing on to your hair. Of course the occasional tangle is inevitable with curly hair, but that doesn’t mean that you have to accept them all! I’m much happier with these ponytail holders and for some reason, they make the BOMB poof!
Have you experienced knots of hair around your “ouchless” ponytail holders? Maybe try considering the alternative seamless holders!

Yes, I always do and sometimes whilst i’m taking it out of my hair it snags at the ends. I have the exact same kind of the alternative which you found, they are quite good. You have a gorgeous hair by the way.

Yes, it’s the worst when you try so hard to be gentle with your hair and the ponytail holders just rip it right out! So glad you found these alternatives as well. And thanks for the compliment!
