Hello hello hello! Welcome to my Blog – Cloud’s Corner!

My name is Ashley Cloud. I have been wanting to start a blog for years, but could never find the time. I’ve often been approached about a wide range of topics from my hair care regimen, thrifting as well as how to navigate getting to and getting through law school. If you know me, you know that I love to help others by sharing information. I have never been one to hide what I know or keep secrets because I believe we can all flourish in our own right! I want this blog to be an extension of that so that I can continue to be a resource to others as well as I hope to learn more from others.

A little bit about me: I am originally from Houston, Texas and have lived in Washington, DC since 2012, when I moved here to attend Howard University for Law School and Business School. I recently took and passed the New York State Bar Exam (yay!) and am currently awaiting admission (swearing in) so I can be officially official. I begin working full-time in January 2017 and I am super excited!

I am a HUGE DIY-er, which is mostly fueled by natural ability of being resourceful and my need to minimize spending! I aspire to be a legal and business powerhouse one day and am constantly working to make that dream come true. I am not perfect and I try not to take myself too seriously, but I remain diligent in the goals I set for myself and the dreams I hope will come into fruition. I want this blog to be a warm, cozy place for other women like myself who are just trying to find their way. Be on the lookout for topics pertaining to the law, business, and also happy hours, thrifting, fun things to do in D.C., natural hair, and more!
