Hey loves! This past week I visited SEI in Penn Quarter for happy hour. I had visited SEI for happy hour years ago and loved it, but neglected to make my way back there.
SEI is a mostly Asian restaurant with bits and pieces from other cuisines. I love the ambiance of SEI – very chic and relaxed.
Their happy hour isn’t at cheap as some places I’ve been to, but you can still get a really good deal on both drinks and food. And the happy hour lasts until 8!
We ordered the red wine, the Asian Pear Sangria (has vodka and champagne), two orders of the spicy tuna rolls, a shrimp taco, fish taco, and the Kobe Sliders. All were delish. The Sangria was a really big hit. I got a taste and it definitely lived up to the excitement.
SEI has a cute happy hour. I love the ambiance and the specials. This would be a cute place for a date even if it wasn’t for happy hour. SEI is located in Penn Quarter at 444 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20004. If you find yourself there, let me know your thoughts!
xoxo Ash
